FOR ONLINE PURCHASES EXCHANGE AND REFUND
HC Distribution wants you to be completely satisfied with your order. ShedRain products have rightfully earned a reputation for quality, service, styling and innovation, and are designed to provide maximum protection from the rain and sun and provide customers with consistent, reliable quality products they can trust.
If you are not satisfied with any item, return it to HC Distribution within 30 days of your purchase for an exchange or refund of its purchase price. Below are some simple steps to be completed to ensure a timely processing of your return or exchange request.
Four Easy Steps for an Exchange or Refund
Please follow these four steps:
1. Obtain an RMA Form. An RMA form must be obtained; completed and returned. Returns and exchanges must be accompanied by an RMA number to ensure full refund of your purchase price. Do not return the product without an approved RMA number. Choose an option below to obtain an RMA form:

2. Submit the Completed RMA Form. Next, complete the RMA form and submit it to HC Distribution. This allows us to capture the details of the transaction and why the return is being requested. You have two options to return the completed RMA form:
- Send the completed RMA form by email to email@example.com
- Mail the completed RMA form to:

3. Receive Authorization for the Return. If you have a valid reason for the return, an RMA Number will be assigned and returned to you. If we made an error in your order, we will also issue you a “call tag” and return shipping labels for your convenience.
4. Return the Product. Ship the product to HC-Distribution per the shipping instructions provided. You must ship your return no more than 15 days after your RMA Number is issued. We accept merchandise returns that are undamaged and in their original, unused, condition within 30 days of purchase. When we receive and process your authorized return shipment, we will send a confirmation to the e-mail address you provided when you placed your order. We will refund the purchase price for returned merchandise to the credit card you used to pay for your original order. Refunds will be made within 14 business days. The time it takes to reflect on your bank card is dependent upon the terms and conditions of your issuing credit card company.
Please follow these shipping instructions:
(i) Enclose a copy of the RMA Form in the return shipment;
(ii) Pack the product with the original packing materials for return shipment;
(iii) Include the original receipt and/or order number;
(iv) Mark the shipping package so that the RMA Number is clearly visible on the outside of the package; and
(v) Ship the package within 15 days of the date that the RMA Number was issued to:

Exceptions to the Policy
In some circumstances, we reserve the right to refuse to honor a customer’s request for a refund or exchange.
Non receipt of product by the customer: In rare occasions; product may be deemed to have never been received by the customer.
If HC Distribution or the respective carrier has substantive proof that the product had been properly delivered; no return credit will be issued. However, if the product is deemed to have been “lost” by the carrier; a full replacement item will be shipped at no additional cost to the customer. If the item is no longer available-the next “best” or “better” replacement item will be shipped.
Receipt of “undeliverable” items:
- If items are returned to HC Distribution as undeliverable as a result of the customer providing the wrong address via the website; or the intended recipient has moved rendering the package as undeliverable, no refund for the original cost of the item or shipping charges will be issued. The items will be returned to inventory and the purchaser of the items will be notified via email.
- If the items are returned as undeliverable as a result of fulfilment error; the items will immediately be reshipped at no cost to the purchaser.
Non compliance with the Return Policy:
Non Refund of the Purchase Price and Shipping Charges: Customers will not receive a Purchase Price Refund if any of the following occur:
- An approved RMA form does not accompany the returned product
- The product is not returned to HC Distribution within 30 calendar days of the date of customer’s receipt of the product with the completed RMA Form; and with all original packaging, components, hangtags and warranty cards.
Disallowance of Refund.
- No Purchase Price Refund or Shipping Cost Refund will be provided if:
- A customer returns the product without prior authorization and without adherence to these guidelines.
- The customer’s dissatisfaction is the consequence of a Customer Order Error.
- A customer attempts to return a product that is not sold by on the shedrain.com store.
- The customer has not yet paid for the product. In this case, the product will be accepted back and, if the customer has been invoiced or a credit account charge is pending, a credit will be issued.
- The product is:
- A “close-out” or other type of item clearly marked as NON-returnable on the website; or
- Any type of “special order” item.
- The customer’s justification for a refund is based on non-delivery of the product and HC Distribution or the respective carrier has substantive proof that the product was properly delivered.
- There is evidence that the customer is attempting to abuse the opportunity, such as situations where the product has been intentionally damaged, abused, or well-used prior to its return.
- Returns made more than 30 days after purchase that are received undamaged, with the original receipt or order number, will receive a shedrain.com gift card to use for a future purchase on the website
